FlasCC also uses the GPU-based 3D rendering acceleration present in Flash Player 11 (known as "Stage3D"), and when used in combination with Domain Memory, form the Premium Features for Flash Player (also known as "XC APIs"). Flash Player 11 can also encode a PNG bitmap via ActionScript.
Flash Player 11 includes native support for importing and exporting data in the JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) format, which allows interoperability with web services and JavaScript programs. The "plug-in" version is available for Netscape-compatible browsers on Microsoft Windows. The "ActiveX" version is an ActiveX control for use in Internet Explorer and any other Windows applications that supports ActiveX technology.
Adobe Flash Player 11 is available in three flavors: "ActiveX", "Plug-in" and "Projector". The Adobe Flash Player is freeware software for viewing multimedia, executing Rich Internet Applications, and streaming video and audio, content created on the Adobe Flash platform.
